4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Frenchman Bay Conservancy’s Annual Meeting will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 4:00 pm on the beach at Taft Point Preserve in Gouldsboro.

We have had a change in speaker. Unfortunately, Jim Levitt is no longer able to attend the annual meeting. However, we have secured an excellent, new speaker on short notice! Nick Fisichelli, Forest Ecology Director at Schoodic Institute, is a forest ecologist examining natural resource dynamics in a continuously changing world. Dr. Fisichelli will discuss the unique ecological features of the Schoodic Point to Schoodic Mountain corridor and the work of Schoodic Institute in this region.  We will also hear from Aaron Dority, FBC’s Executive Director, about the Schoodic to Schoodic conservation vision and progress.

It is approximately a 1/2 mile walk down to the beach from the parking area on uneven terrain. If you would like to attend, but need assistance getting to the beach, contact us and we can arrange accommodations.
