2024 Trail Explorer Passport

The FBC Trail Explorer Passport Challenge is back for 2024!

We’re challenging you to explore four trails this summer in Gouldsboro, Ellsworth, and Sullivan — for a chance to win a prize!

How to Participate

  1. Starting July 1st, The Passports can be picked up at Tidal Falls Preserve, Fogtown Brewing Co. in Ellsworth or the Ellsworth Public Library. They can also be downloaded and printed using the attached PDF.
  2. Get hiking! The Passport highlights four featured preserves for you to visit, each of which will have a “Secret Hiker Password” at the trail kiosk. Visit all four preserves and record each password to complete your challenge!
  3. Submit your finished Passport for prize entry by Sunday, September 1st: by dropping them off in the drop off / pick up box located at Tidal Falls Preserve, mailing them to FBC, or by emailing a photo of your completed passport to FBC’s Outreach Coordinator, Jane Parlee, at jane@frenchmanbay.org. Every passport completed and returned to FBC will be entered to win a prize! The prize winners will be selected in September.
