Want to spend time outdoors? Get your hands dirty? Be part of a hardworking team?

Help FBC build & maintain trails for public use by volunteering on our trail crew.

Our trail crew is led by FBC Land Protection Manager Kat Deely and FBC’s seasonal Environmental Steward from Maine Conservation Corps. The crew meets at Tidal Falls Preserve in Hancock at 8:30 am Workdays to caravan to the worksite.

Volunteer workdays run until 11:00 am.

What do I bring to a volunteer workday?

  • Plenty of water
  • Bug Spray & Sunscreen
  • Sturdy Boots & Gloves

In 2019, our trail crew worked together to build the one mile trail at Jordan Homestead Preserve in Ellsworth, with assistance from Maine Conservation Corps and Maine Coast Heritage Trust.
