Bird Migration Walk at Jordan River Preserve

Maine Audubon naturalists and special guests will lead monthly walks at Frenchman Bay Conservancy’s Jordan River Preserve in Trenton.

The Jordan River Preserve protects 186 acres with more than a mile of shoreline, valuable tidal salt marshes, and nesting habitat for many bird species including Bobolinks and Cliff Swallows. The property includes open fields, forested areas, and tidal mud flats.

With some resident birds gearing up for migration and some species actively migrating through Maine, fall is an excellent time to put your birdings skills to the test. Join Maine Audubon naturalists on this bird-focused walk accessible for all skill levels.
