Guided Birding Walk at Jordan River Preserve
Maine Audubon naturalists and special guests will lead monthly walks at Frenchman Bay Conservancy’s Jordan River Preserve in Trenton.
The Jordan River Preserve protects 186 acres with more than a mile of shoreline, valuable tidal salt marshes, and nesting habitat for many bird species including Bobolinks and Cliff Swallows. The property includes open fields, forested areas, and tidal mud flats.
Explore with Maine Audubon naturalists to identify the different species of plants, animals, and fungi that inhabit the preserve. Sharpen your naturalist skills and document your observations to help provide a biodiversity baseline for the site!
