Help FBC build & maintain trails for public use by volunteering on our trail crew.

Details: workday location and details will be sent via email to volunteers in advance. On the dedicated work days, meet at FBC’s office on Tidal Falls Preserve in Hancock at 8:30 AM to caravan to the worksite.
“Maintenance Mondays” for easy trail stewardship, includes clearing small branches, cutting back overgrowth, and cleaning up heavily used trails. Beginner friendly. Great for teens looking for summer volunteer hours!
“Workday Wednesdays” requires more physical labor, including help carrying rocks, bog-bridging, addressing blow-downs, and other tasks associated with building new, sustainable trails.
Volunteer workdays run 9:00am – 1:00 pm. Meet up at Tidal Falls 8:30am
What do I bring to a volunteer workday?
- Plenty of water, Snacks, and/or Lunch
- Bug Spray & Sunscreen
- Sturdy Boots & Gloves
