Join FBC for a guided walk on Saturday, May 13 at Simon Trail Preserve!

Join FBC for a short walk to the new outdoor classroom at Simon Trail Preserve, where participants are invited to bring their morning coffee and “bird by ear” in Lamoine on National Migratory Bird Day! The quiet solitude of the Simon Trail classroom makes it a beautiful spot to stop and listen to the birds chatter, with bird ID help from FBC volunteers Sherrie Downing and Nancy Patterson.

A few reminders: Bring coffee, binoculars, footwear for possible mud, sunscreen, bug repellent, tick repellent, hearing aids if needed, and bird ID books if desired.

This hike is limited to 12 registrants, so please sign up early! All participants must register individually.
