Spring Pruning Workshop: How to Prune Perennials for Beginners

Join FBC for a beginners pruning workshop at Tidal Falls in Hancock!

Join FBC for a hands-on workshop at the Tidal Falls Native Gardens with Lauren Landers, a Master Gardener volunteer and gardening writer. During this 1-hour workshop, we’ll learn the best practices for pruning perennial native plants (without doing damage or disturbing pollinators!) and discover pruning tricks that will help your plants grow and flower better. This interactive session will take place right in the garden and give you a chance to see firsthand how it’s done. If you want to feel more confident with pruning, this beginner-friendly workshop is for you!

Participants should bring: Pruning shears, gardening gloves, warm layers, and waterproof shoes.

This workshop is limited to 15 registrants, so please sign up early! All participants must register individually.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact our Outreach Coordinator, Jane Parlee at jane@frenchmanbay.org.

To keep our staff, volunteers, and other program participants safe, please stay home if you have any symptoms consistent with cold. Thank you!
