Outdoor Adventure Storytimes with Ellsworth Public Library
Join FBC and Ellsworth Public Library this summer for Outdoor Adventure Storytimes!
Beginning Wednesday, July 2nd at 9:30AM, the Ellsworth Public Library‘s Ms. Jean will be leading outdoor storytimes every first and third Wednesday throughout July, August, and September.
Storytimes open up a world of language, culture, music, and play to young children and their grown-ups. When taking this program outside, children interact with nature, audibly, physically and visually!
The storytimes will take place in the outdoor classrooms at FBC’s Tidal Falls Preserve in Hancock and Simon Trail in Lamoine. The outdoor classroom at Simon Trail has log stool seating and is a 0.4 mi walk from the parking lot. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear and read the detailed trail description before visiting. The storytimes at Tidal Falls take place either at the outdoor classroom with log stool seats, on the lawn, or can be moved indoors for rain.
