Cabin Fever Reliever 2026
Getting some fresh air and sunlight goes a long way during these cold months! FBC’s trails remain open all season long, and can provide a great way to break up the monotony of your winter hibernation. We are challenging YOU to hike FBC’s preserves this winter!
From now until April 26th, there are six Cabin Fever Creature signs hidden along FBC’s trails. Each sign features a different animal that you might see in Maine in the winter. We are challenging you to find four of our Cabin Fever Creatures to be entered into a prize drawing! Participants who find all six of our signs will be entered into the prize drawing twice!
First time hiking in the winter? Please read these guidelines to stay safe and warm while out on the trail!
The prize drawing includes:
- One FBC limited edition Sea Bags Tote with a map of coastal Hancock County
- Two FBC winter beanies
- $10 gift card to Flexit Cafe
- $10 gift card to Fogtown Brewing Co.
How to Participate:
- Starting Saturday, February 14th, The Cabin Fever Creature signs will be out on the trail. You can either download a challenge sheet here to mail in, or record your findings and submit your answers online using the form below.
- Get hiking! There are passport signs along six preserves for you to visit. Hike four of the highlighted preserves of your choosing to complete our challenge and be entered in our prize drawing. Hike all six highlighted preserves and receive an additional entry into the drawing!
- Submit your answers or mail in your challenge sheet for prize entry by Sunday, April 26th. Challenge sheets can be mailed to FBC, or answers can be submitted online using the form below. FBC will then draw a winner for the prize bag, which can be picked up at the Tidal Falls office, or shipped to those outside of Hancock County.
