Monday Music: The Katherine Perkins Band

Join FBC for Monday Music on July 27th, 2026!

Katherine Perkins will lead the third concert in the series with a set shaped by songwriting, storytelling, and a deep connection to place.

A Maine-based artist, Katherine’s work—both in music and painting—explores light and color, the ocean, and the emotional landscapes that tie them together. As the leader of the Brooklyn-based band Rose Hips & Ships, she released The Seafarer (2013) and The Colors Now (2020), building a sound that is both reflective and quietly expansive.

Her most recent album, Being Younger (2024), continues that evolution, offering a collection of songs that feel personal, grounded, and deeply observed. In November 2024, she was recognized by Down East Magazine as one of “4 Maine Music Artists to Watch.” This performance brings her work into an intimate, live setting—where story, sound, and sense of place come together.

Bring your blankets and chairs, grab a bite from local food vendors, and enjoy an evening of music with the beautiful reversing falls as a backdrop.

To make for a smooth event, please review the following:

  • The concert begins at 6:00 PM. Due to volume of attendees, if you need to drop off at the lower preserve, please do so in advance of concert start time.
  • Dogs are not allowed.
