Pumpkin Carving

Stop by Tidal Falls in Hancock on Sunday, October 25th, anytime between 1:00 to 4:00pm and carve a pumpkin with FBC! Enjoy festive snacks and music as guests carve pumpkins to be placed along the Pumpkin Hike. All carved pumpkins will be transferred to the Ellsworth Riverwalk to be lit and kept on display starting on Wednesday, October 28th through the evening of Sunday, November 1st.

Pumpkins are provided for carving free of charge, but are limited, please register below to register below to reserve a pumpkin. Participants are also welcome to bring pumpkins from home, no registration needed.

This event & the Pumpkin Hike are free & open to the public. We kindly recommend a gift to FBC to support outdoor events & programs like this one!


Submit a Pumpkin to the Pumpkin Hike!

Wish to submit a pumpkin to our Pumpkin Hike but can’t attend our carving event? Participants are welcome to submit pumpkins of their own into the Pumpkin Hike! All interested participants should drop carved pumpkins off at the Riverwalk Trail Kiosk by Tuesday, October 27th, with a name and phone number written on the pumpkin in permanent marker. Please also register your self-entry pumpkins here!


Pumpkin Hike Grand Opening & Lighting

Join us for the Pumpkin Hike Grand Opening, on Wednesday October 28th, and come see your carved pumpkin! Wear a spooky costume, vote on your favorite pumpkins, and join us in celebration of the Pumpkin Hike Grand Opening as we light the pumpkins for the first night! Learn more here!
