Downeast Conservation Network is Hiring

Downeast Conservation Network is searching for a new network Coordinator. DCN is a regional network partnership of conservation, research, and education organizations working in Hancock and Washington Counties, Maine. Our mission is to connect conservation, research, education, and communities in Downeast Maine.
The DCN Coordinator works with a 15-member Steering Committee and regional partners to plan and implement community outreach, coordinates project management, writes and facilitates grants, among other responsibilities. There is plenty of opportunity for creativity, detail, and satisfaction!
Recent DCN achievements include: 1) an economic study of the value of conserved land in Downeast Maine; 2) mapping biodiversity climate change resilience in the region to aid conservation planning and prioritization; 3) a series of on-going facilitated dialogues based on community expressed needs; and 4) multi-year funding to see these and other projects through to completion. 
The DCN coordinator position is part-time, self-employed, hired by annual contract.
